This week on From Police to Priest, Episode 13 deals with the horrible story of several NYPD officers being targeted in what has been called an “assassination attempt”.
Father Joe and Father Rix look at this instance, and Fr. Joe reflects on a life-threatening encounter when he was a rookie cop, and how ministry has complicated a view that was black-and-white while in he was uniform.
It’s a challenging take but we hope it provides a moment of contemplation… that when others do wrong, what is the call that God has for us?
