When I think of the harm religion does, I often think of violence.  I think of the killings ISIS does, the brutal, deliberate kind of violence.  I also think of parents who refuse to seek medical attention for their children, that passive, inintentional kind of murder.

But isn't there a commandment against killing?  Isn't this forbidden?  I'll give my take on why so much violence comes from religion.
