Why does God see you as a murderer? God sees human life as sacred; so sacred that both physical and non-physical acts of violence are seen as attacks on the life He gives and sustains. This has personal and institutional implications for how we treat human life, many of which Pastor Paul deals with in this sermon.
Ultimately, in Jesus’ summary of the Mosaic Law, He stresses this truth in the positive, that His disciples must love their neighbours as themselves. And so we are called to everything we can to preserve the sanctity of human life. But what does this look like?
