When I took a trip back into the hole, I finally heard a voice cry back to me.

"Ello! Who be you, you silly little mongroo!"

I leaped as the words echoed across the room's walls, making me suddenly notice just how empty it previously was. The voice was quick and high-pitched! Like a yappy-dog, but with a strong, foreign accent I couldn't identify. I looked down in front of me and saw only a tiny statue of a cow, with big, round ears, staring back at me.

"I... how did you get here?" I asked, hoping this creature wasn't up to something mischievous.
