Our Thought Leader, Professor Mary Galvin, Professor in the Department of Anthropology and Development Studies at the University of Johannesburg spoke about how climate change was addressed in the State of the Nation Address.
Our second Thought Leader was Chaka Mofokeng, an MSc student at the University of the Western Cape. He spoke about working together with Dr Carolina Ödman, an associate professor in astronomy, to translate astronomy guides into South African languages for high school students.
