This September there will be three important Jewish holidays; Yom Teruah (Feast of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah), Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement), and Sukkot (Feast of Tabernacles). All of these have prophetic significance for both Jew and Christian. Preparation for Yom Kippur means days of reflection from the past year, leading to confession of sin on Yom Kippur. As believers, who have been forgiven by the shed blood of our Lamb, Yeshua Ha Mashiach (Jesus Christ), do we really need to reflect and confess our sins? Do we fast on Yom Kippur as morose sinners or do we feast because of our atonement? Tonight I looked at these things and more.
