OK you guys I’m going to be transparent with you guys and say this statement coronavirus is a short term disability so that being said who is taking care of the disable people with long term disabling conditions?

I don’t care if you’re a parent trying to take care of your child and you live with them and I don’t care you come in help and then leave

I don’t care if you are trying to take care of your aging parents with a disability

My goodness you need to stop and think how this is affecting people with disabilities and people were trying to help the disabled
And I will finish my six year journey of getting a four-year bachelors degree in journalism thank you very much but I will not stop banging the drum about disabilities and people that care for the disabled
This is what I’m most angry about throughout the whole thing
So no it’s not thank you doctors it’s not thank you nurses it’s not thank you restaurant workers it is thank you to the people that gown up to take care of you after you come home with coronavirus
Or in some cases those people that have disabilities already like me with my neurological disability and the help I’m receiving to stay out of the hospital so just think about that the next time you post something that says thank you to the nurses thank you to the doctors thank you to the restaurant workers I get thank you to the nurses thank you to the doctors but I do not get a thank you to the restaurant workers I get a thank you to the grocery store employees say thank you to the journalist who are getting out there and recording the news and giving people hope let’s say thank you to all the podcaster who are giving people hope and giving people educational lessons along the way
And let’s say thank you to people who are helping people with disabilities function
Think before you speak Because it’s not easy being a caregiver to a disabled person I don’t care how old they are and what disability they have you think it’s easy just walk in my shoes for two days and then you’ll see
