“The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still.” Exodus‬ ‭14:14‬

The Lord will fight for you, yes. 

But you still need to show up to the battlefield. Which many Christians are not. 

David showed up. Moses showed up. Noah showed up. Esther showed up. Samson showed up. Mary showed up. 

Eventually Jonah showed up. 

“Be still” doesn’t mean disengage, flee, or hide…it means…stand your ground, maintain your position, do not move.
