Why in American society do we expect those that are grieving to throw the equivalent of a wedding, in just a few days? That’s pretty much what a funeral is: a service and possibly a meal – with music, flowers, programs, and oftentimes a photo slideshow or displays – for several hundred people… all planned in a matter of days! Ridiculous, isn’t it?

In this episode, I share my thoughts on funerals. Yes, they’re important. But you can plan them on your terms! Better yet, planning ahead so you can let loved ones know what you want at your service someday is an incredible gift to them.
