Shine Radio’s Laura Sheppard speaks with artist Helen Sill about her new project Threads of Freedom, part of The Spring's initiative Our Freedom: Then and Now.

Through hands-on workshops, Helen is inviting the community to reflect on what freedom means today, using textiles, drawing and words to create a collaborative artwork. Inspired by historic autograph cloths, the project connects the freedoms of the past with our experiences now.
