Fuelled by a fascination for garment intricacies, he pursued private lessons in pattern making and sewing at thirteen. At seventeen, he debuted a collection that garnered acclaim, leading to private client orders. Seeking mastery, Paul apprenticed with an Italian tailor, excelling in traditional sartorial methods. His pursuit of excellence continued at Milan's Europeo Instituto di Design, where he graduated with honors.
Upon returning to Australia, Vasileff expanded his business, fostering a passion for fine sewing among his staff. His stellar contributions to the Australian fashion industry earned him the 'Young Australian of the Year' award in 2017, followed by the 'Designer of The Year' title at the Prix de Marie Claire Awards.
