Three-D Discipleship

The Humble will Fear the Lord. The Wise and disciplined will Live without Dread. Discipline is not mean, a lack of discipline is cruel. If we don't fear God, we most likely believe we are God. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge because it's the beginning of one learning from the creator. We become wise when we fear the foolishness of not being connected to God. We become disciplined when we fear the lack of correction from God.

"The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline." – Proverbs 1:7

Gospel Response: Fear the Lord, for in Him is the beginning of wisdom. 🕊️ Let us humble our 'right' to embrace His greater wisdom, and humble our 'wrong' to receive His loving discipline. True strength is found in surrendering both to His guidance.

Christian worship reveals God to be worth more than all else through allegiance, sacrifice, and praise. Christian worship is not music, but music can be worship. Biblical praise lifts up God in worship and others in faith. 🙏 Let’s commit to worshiping God with our lives daily, allowing music to enhance our connection to Him, but not define it. 🙏

Gospel Response: 🎶 Why Do You Sing? 🎶 Is your voice lifted in Psalms, Old and New Worship Songs, or Spiritual Songs? Is singing a weapon in your arsenal against Satan, or a weapon of Satan?

Give thanks for our new Kingdom, and worship our new King. A Real kingdom to be excited about, the new kingdom is unshakeable. Do you feel unworthy to worship? God has a plan for you!

- The giving of the Law was powerful and evoked fear.

- The giving of the Law separated God from the world's sinfulness. - Jesus restores broken sinners to God.

- Be thankful and worship because of God's mercy.

Gospel Response: Jesus gave us a new kingdom, be wise about your relationship with the old kingdom.

- Do you have anything holding you back from worshiping God? Specifically a fear or shame. Deal with that in the context of a group or counseling.

Move Forward BUT Beware. We are called to endure. What does it look like to be a believer that's going to endure not through just sin issues but through suffering? When we are enduring we must keep our eyes fixed on Christ. Christ is the perfect picture of endurance.

Gospel Response: Peace and Holiness can only be found in Christ.

- What are you enduring that you need help and encouragement?

- Do you have someone in your life that can come alongside you in this season? If not why?

- Who are you coming alongside to help them move towards peace and holiness?

- Discipline: wisdom in training.

- Discipline is knowing the right step to take to accomplish the goal.

- Consistency: discipline on repeat.

- Grit: consistent discipline in adversity.

Discipline: What is the right step?

Consistency: What do I need to do that step over and over?

Grit: How will I face adversity with discipline and consistency?

Gospel Response:

- What discipline do you need to put in place to become the person God has called you to be?

- Who do you need to help you develop consistency?

- What adversity are you facing that will try and stop you?

We train through the power of God for holiness and rest. The devil is scheming to destroy you. Are you fighting back? Jesus calls us to train. Jesus didn't save you from discipline and training, he saved you from death.

Training Regiment #1

- Meditate on what is good.

- Build your team.

- Strategize in the morning.

Training Regiment #2

- Daily Habits:

1. Work Hard.

2. Honor God.

3. Fight Tech.

4. Give thanks for what you have.

5. Get in bed 7 hours before you need to wake up.

6. Eat in a biblical way.

7. Pray about the sabbath.

8. Journal to God.

Do you have discipline in your life to accomplish what you want to accomplish? Be disciplined to do what is right. Discipline in your spiritual life will affect every other area of your life. Christ's victory on the cross comes with discipline and training so we can take the cross.

➡️ Suffering is training.

➡️ Victory comes through training.

Gospel Response: Turn a defeated mindset into a victorious mindset by shifting suffering into training.

We know Friday was not the end because Sunday was coming! We endure the cross because we wait for the crown. In this situation, live by faith as we wait for reality. The humble savior takes a thorn crown and then raises into His rightful place as King of the universe.

Gospel Response: Process through your cross and the crown you are aspiring to gain. Are you enduring a cross that leads to death or a cross that leads to life?

A World of Thorns. What do you hope for? In this situation, live by faith as we wait for reality. Stay near to God, hold on, consider one another, so that you don't fall into sin that drains life. Faith is a story, not a moment.

💜 Don't commit deliberate sin

💜 Remember the story of endurance

Deliberate sin is doing your will with no care for God's will.

- Receive the challenge to endure.

- Be confident in our story.

But we are not those who draw back and are destroyed, but those who have faith and are saved.

Gospel Response: Consider any sin that could become a deliberate sin and bring it to your people.

- Pray for Strength.

- Surround with Believers.

- Reflect on Endurance.

- Have Faith.
