Three Days of Peace, Love & Mud - Woodstock ’94

Listen Later

In August 1994, the most important music festival of a generation took place on the 25th anniversary of the original Woodstock.  Unlike the wretched 1999 version, Woodstock ’94 was three glorious days of peace, love and music.  You know it was a success when the worst thing that happened was just a lot of rain and mud!

Adam and Chad discuss how excited they were about the music festival that defined the golden age of the 90’s and how nostalgic it still makes them feel today.  They dissect the changes in culture going on at the time: moshing, raves, body paint, men wearing dresses; and the shift in music from established acts like Aerosmith and Metallica to the new era of Green Day and Nine Inch Nails.
