In our praise and our worship, who really is the object of this praise and of this worship? God would be the obvious answer, but would it be the honest answer? Often times we are guilty of a man-centered theology. We view God only in terms how He relates to us. As the little chorus goes, “God is so good… He’s so good to ME.” God is good because of the things He does for me. We forget that God only acts according to who He is.
