Three Tunes, The Same Origin - Your Call (Original Songs) - Three Tune Tuesday Week 72

We must never stop outdoing ourselves.
We are all capable of evolving in every aspect of our lives. Those of us who are music lovers and always seek innovation, are in a constant struggle to find new alternatives, musical resources and fusion of genres, in order to create and bring the vibrations that synchronize with our spirit.
It was for these reasons that I was able to take a song from my own inspiration and make it evolve.
Today I want to share with you this process that led me to have "three different tunes" from the same origin.
The Song: "Your Call"
It all started with a poem I wrote, which relates personal experiences of dark moments in my life and to which I later added music to create my song.
The Lyrics
It is divided into three stages (Verses) that describe a person who usually travels daily along the same path, moving away from the shelter of his home to go to a sinister place, full of demons. Fortunately, he always has the opportunity (perhaps thanks to luck) to return to his loved ones and be safe again.
Stanza I
I keep walking this infinite treadmill under my feet.
The images go sideways, they are always the same.
Sometimes back, sometimes out,
Sometimes at night, sometimes during the day
The destination is the same, from heaven to hell.
I leave angels behind...their shelter and love him.
Here, the protagonist feels that he walks on an endless tape (as in Chaplin's films) always seeing the same images, day and night, back and forth, always by his side. Which gives us the idea that it is a routine activity for him.
Stanza II
Here the demons receive me (they want my soul),
They have not been able to against this divine protection.
It's too strong, too pure...
I feel your call, I must return.
I leave angels behind...their shelter and love.
This stage describes the dark place full of demons where the protagonist goes daily.
Despite being surrounded by evil beings, he knows that he has a very strong "divine protection", which has prevented evil from affecting his soul.
Stanza III
I start the trip back, on the infinite tape.
In rituals, I invoke your name, over and over again.
I'm back by your side, I already have your shelter.
This time I was lucky, tomorrow I don't know.
I leave angels behind...their shelter and love.
This is the stage of the return, where the protagonist begins the walk to his home, where the angels are that protect him and give him all their love.
The return trip is made on the same path that he traveled, seeing the same images next to him.
Good fortune always accompanies him, since, by incessantly repeating prayers, he achieves the necessary protection to reach his destination every day and once again have love and shelter.
Music Evolution
The Beginning: First Version:
In the first video, we can appreciate the birth of the song. With raw and very acoustic sounds, I managed to convey the idea of the poem and imbue my voice with the necessary energy.
Advancing: Second Version
The second video featured post-production, multi-takes, and more instrumentation, including bass and electric guitar. The rhythm was slow REGGAE.
Final: Latest Version
In my most recent version (and the last one I will do) I fixed it to the FUNK genre.
For this, I took a drum base that I found on Youtube, and on it, I played the bass, and then I added an acoustic guitar played at half-time, which fits perfectly in the white spaces.
I also added a little melodic riff with which I finished putting the puzzle together.

Todo somos capaces de evolucionar en cada aspecto de nuestras vidas. Quienes somos amantes de la música y buscamos siempre la innovación, estamos en una constante lucha por encontrar nuevas alternativas, recursos musicales y fusión de géneros, para así crear y traer las vibraciones que sincronicen con nuestro espíritu.
Fue por está razones que pude tomar una canción de mi propia inspiración y hacerla evolucionar.
Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes este proceso que me llevó a tener "tres tunes" diferentes a partir del mismo origen.
La Canción: "Tu Llamado"
Todo comenzó con un poema que escribí, el cual relata experiencias personales de momentos oscuros de mi vida y al que posteriormente le agregué música para crear mi canción.
La Letra
Está dividida en tres etapas (Estrofas) que describen a una persona quien suele desplazarse diariamente por el mismo camino, alejándose del cobijo de su hogar para ir a un lugar siniestro, lleno de demonios. Afortunadamente, siempre tiene la oportunidad (quizá gracias a la suerte) de regresar con sus seres queridos y volver a estar a salvo.
Estrofa I
Sigo andando esta cinta infinita bajo mis pies.
Las imágenes pasan de lado, son siempre las mismas.
A veces de vuelta, otras de ida,
A veces de noche, otras de día
El destino es el mismo, del cielo al infierno.
Dejo ángeles atrás... su cobijo y su amor.
Acá el protagonista siente que camina sobre una cinta sin fin (como en las películas se Chaplin) viendo siempre las mismas imágenes, de día y se noche, de ida y de vuelta, siempre a su lado. Lo que nos da la idea de que es una actividad rutinaria para él.
Estrofa II
Aquí los demonios me reciben (quieren mi alma),
No han podido con esta protección divina.
Es demasiado fuerte, demasiado pura...
Siento tu llamado, debo volver.
Dejo ángeles atrás... su cobijo y su amor.
En esta etapa se describe el lugar oscuro lleno de demonios a dónde diariamente el protagonista se dirige.
A pesar de estar rodeado de seres malignos, él sabe que cuenta con una "protección divina" muy fuerte, la cuál ha impedido que el mal afecte su alma.
Estrofa III
Emprendo el viaje de vuelta, sobre la cinta infinita.
En rituales invoco tu nombre, una y otra vez.
Vuelvo a estar a tu lado, ya tengo tu abrigo.
Esta vez tuve suerte, mañana no sé.
Dejo ángeles atrás... su cobijo y su amor.
Esta es la etapa del regreso, dónde el protagonista emprende la caminata hacia su hogar, dónde están los ángeles que lo protegen y le dan todo su amor.
El viaje de vuelta lo realiza por el mismo camino que recorrió, viendo las mismas imágenes a su lado.
La buena fortuna siempre lo acompaña, ya que, repitiendo incesantemente oraciones, logra la protección necesaria para llegar a su destino cada día y volver a tener amor y cobijo
La Evolución Musical
El Inicio: Primera Versión:
En el primer video, podemos apreciar el nacimiento de la canción. Con sonidos crudos y muy acústicos, logré transmitir la idea del poema e impregnar mi voz con la energía necesaria.
Avanzando: Segunda Versión
El segundo vídeo contó con una post producción, multi tomas y mayor instrumentación, incluyendo un bajo y guitarra electrica. El ritmo fue de REGGAE lento.
Final: Ultima Versión
Mi más reciente versión (y última que haré) la arreglé al género de FUNK.
Para esto tomé una base de batería que encontré en Youtube, y sobre ella, ejecuté el bajo, para luego agregar una guitarra acústica tocada a medio tiempo, la cuál se ajusta perfectamente en los espacios blancos.
También agregué un pequeño riff melódico con el que terminé de armar el rompecabezas.
