Motivation allows us to gain valued outcomes like improved performance, enhanced well-being, personal growth, or a sense of purpose. Motivation is a pathway to change our way of thinking, feeling, and behaving.

As mentioned in previous episodes, there are four levels of self-care based on where your health care is at: self-care as a problem, self-care as a weakness, self-care as a strength and self-care as a superpower.

The motivation to make positive changes to your health comes from a feeling that your life really matters. When self-care is a weakness or a problem, people are usually unmotivated.

In this episode I share three effective ways to get healthy even though you don't feel motivated. Talking to yourself as if you were someone you love, implementing my seven steps to living your best life and finding someone who believes in you more than you believe in yourself.
