New Episode alert and I am truly grateful that I get to share this space with so many amazing women! Today’s episode is just what I need, what you need, what the world grappling with loss, pain, trauma and grief needs.
In today’s episode, “Thriving after grief,” I talk with Kavanaugh Dickson-Williams, a strong, courageous, resilient Christian, mother, wife, friend and sister. Kavanaugh Dickson-Williams is a Christian Best Selling Author, Speaker and Blogger for “Lady Kavan Writes.” She is passionate about writing, helping others heal emotionally so they can thrive, helping others explore grief safely, and mentoring and coaching others so they can build emotional resilience.
Through her writing she shares her story of loss, grief, pain, trauma and finally healing, recovery, resilience, restoration and love. Restored by the love of God, supported by family, her community, therapy, she writes to help people navigate pain to see God's presence in and through it all.
This episode was particularly therapeutic, healing and empowering for me in this season, as I navigate my own losses and process my grief. I would like to thank Kavanaugh for sharing her story and for being a beacon of hope, light and love.
She shares many gems, but my favourites are:
