As an immigrant from the Dominican Republic, Jhoanny helped her mom build three seven-figure restaurants and used this achievement to teach Latina and immigrant women how to build restaurants as well. After flourishing in the restaurant industry for 8 years, Jhoanny turned her attention to mentoring women and families to build an empire for themselves and their communities. Jhoanny considers teaching, creating opportunities with others and empowering women of color as her interests. As part of her mission to give back to others, Jhoanny also enjoys working with youth and families, and has worked to bring aid to other countries like Haiti, South Africa, and Ghana.
