Lawren Desai is the Executive Director and Curator of the a/perture cinema.  She grew up in Winston-Salem, NC moved away, came back as an adult and has founded one of the first institutions to make Downtown Winston-Salem thrive. ... a/perture. When she isn't at the cinema she enjoys traveling with her husband and son.
