After being forced to quit her career due to excessive hospitalizations from complications of Cystic Fibrosis, Klyn was confined to a wheelchair with her lung function plummeting below 40%.   Now, she has recovered most of her lungs and is a personal trainer in San Diego & training to compete in her first Bikini Competition. Her story has been featured in numerous publications including Manifest Station and she has appeared on several shows including KPBS, NPR, and US News Nightly Report with Lester Holt.
