Some believe that the best way forward in perilous times is to arm yourself with knowledge, to have clear understanding. However the word shows us a better way to be prepared, God's way:

Trust in the LORD with all your heart,

And lean not on your own understanding;

In all your ways acknowledge Him,

And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:4-5 NKJV
