April is Child Abuse Prevention and Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Reyna Herrerra is a victim of domestic violence and child abuse and bravely volunteered to tell her and her mothers' story. Some details may be difficult to hear, but 17-year-old Reyna wants to get her story out to let people know the realities of the issues facing our communities and to help people realize the effects their actions have on future generations.
Tresstan Ker, an advocate with the Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Center in Idaho Falls also joins us to give us resources on how we can recognize, report, stop, and prevent domestic violence and ways to find hope and healing for victims.
