Looking at People Through Jesus’ Eyes
1. Remember, I need forgiveness, too.
Rom 3:23-24 (NLT) For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God's glorious standard.
Matt 10:8 (NLT) Give as freely as you have received!
2. Refocus on the real enemy.
Eph 6:12 (NLT) For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
3. Don’t waste a hurt.
Gen 50:19-20 (NLT) But Joseph replied, "Don't be afraid of me. Am I God, that I can punish you? You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people.
2 Cor 1:3-4 (NLT) All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. God is our merciful Father and the source of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us.
