When the prophets of the Old Testament envisioned a world filled with justice, righteousness, forgiveness, joy, and peace, they painted the picture using images such as a branch, fire, a song, and a shepherd. Although they are simple images, each one communicates a tremendous hope that one day God will reign, all evil will be defeated, and the ultimate celebration will begin!
