Through the Wormhole

The final part of our Leeds Direct Hit coverage, Joe chats to two players who were reasonably new to Twilight's Fall and did not win or organise the event. Rather than being a beginners guide this episode explores how we feel it compares to regular TI. We also talk about our regular TI takes and give Moss (Leeds 2024 winner) to respond to accusations that he manipulates weaker players at the table.

Washme? (aka Charlie) is not only a streamer and podcast host, he is also the first winner of R1 of the European Community Cup. We have analysis and hype galore in this episode. We cover his win as Mahact in R1 of the ECC where he talks Mahact play, TE components and his rivals. Then we cover other ECC matches, the upcoming community game and the (nearly upon us) October Bristol tournament.

Twilight Imperium is so simple right? Whoever has most points on the track is the one we need to stop, right? WRONG!

Walrusbeserker comes to give some propaganda as to why he should never be targeted ever. This episode explores how you as a player can calculate who is most likely to win. It considers points, point potential, support swaps, factions, map set up, relics, and way way way more. A great deep dive into how to analyse this beautiful complicated political game.

Expect a tad bit of bad language

Interview with Hunter Donaldson from a little known podcast called Space Cats Peace Turtle. Joe and Hunter interview each other to learn about tournaments, meta, formats and random stuff including UK comedy & landmarks.

This was maybe the week to have a week off podcasting given I have just moved house, but it was great content and seemed ideal to share!

The girls have taken over the pod to disscuss Twilight Imperium from a partners perspective. I am joined by 4 gals whose partners all play TI, but they themselves do not (and some openly refuse!). They come on the pod to explain what they like and don't like about our wonderful game.

Expect plenty of laughing, a tiny bit of bad language and some self reflection I'm not sure we are ready to hear! Oh, and waaayyy more chat about the Sims than you need.

Episode starts with some ECC content - sign ups close this month!

Samba is the new London Maneuving Jets champion! He played Embers of Muaat in both games to win the whole tournament and beat the reigning London, Bristol and National Champs to get there. In this epsiode we hear from a champion on how he approaches the game, negioations, playing Muaat and winning tournaments.

Expect a very rational and intellectual approach to Twilight Imperium, definitely lots for us to learn from in here!
