Jocelyns mom has always struggled with addiction, but has never stopped trying to get sober. Jocelyn has been her mothers care giver all her life and just wants to protect and help her. Her mom lives with her and her family. Although her mother struggles Jocelyn understands that her mom doesn't want to hurt her or be this way. Thats why she can forgive and be best friends with her. Their bond is so strong. It is impressive that she broke out of the generational addiction only to find healing and understanding.
