Throwdown Ep. 51 - "We Are Diamond Dogs"
The majority of us on Throwdown are huge fans of the Metal Gear Solid series and have been sinking our teeth deep into the latest entry: Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. Now that the game has been out for over a week, we wanted to talk about what we think of the game so far and how we think it stacks up to the other games in the series (spoiler free discussion of course).
Our second main topic is about the 20th anniversary of the original PlayStation. This system helped to form the gaming industry that we all know today so we wanted to look back on its legacy and share some of our personal experiences with the console.
We also discuss August 2015's NPD numbers and the Apple Event on the show as well.
