FAST PATH TO REVERSE - Heading Backwards! (Throwing our Growth into Reverse!)

“Spiritual witchcraft”: the deception of judgmental legalism and its proponents. (Also, can be anything or anyone which deceives, “casts a spell”)

False prophets, teachers, teachings (1 Corinthians 4:4)

Lost the living reality, revelation, of the Lord, the Cross, and our place there! (revelation vs. mere information) (1 Corinthians 3:1)

Does it bear witness with the Word and the Holy Spirit’s voice in you?

Galatians 3:5, 6

The Giver of the Holy Spirit: the Father (John 14:16, 26)

The Spirit imparts to believers: Counselor, Guide, Intercessor, Companion, Teacher, Encourager, Witness of God’s provision and Inheritance (Romans 8:16, 17; John 16:14, 15)

Prophecy

Good Gift to be desired and recognized (not despised) - 1 Corinthians 14:1, 39

Lines up with Word (logos) (1 Corinthians 14:29)

Affirmed by the Holy Spirit in giver and receiver

Pass the test of agreement and/or correction by others in prophetic gifting (1 Corinthians 14:29, 32)

Grants comfort/encouragement to receiver (1 Corinthians 14:3)

Submission to spiritual authority (1 Corinthians 14:31, 32; 1 Thessalonians 5:12; Hebrews 13:7; 1 Corinthians 14:40)

Beware: (1 John 4:1)

Of those who predict the future “in the name of the Lord”.

Of those who seem to have “all the answers” and never admit their own failures or weaknesses.

Of those who are “controlling and manipulative” and bringing others under condemnation in their insistence on being followed.

Of those who have no accountability or spiritual covering.
