Our brewery began in the Stark Mill Building at 500 Commercial St. Manchester, NH in 1994 as the Stark Mill Brewery, opening  through the hard work and love of the craft by master brewer and restaurateur Peter Telge, a New Hampshire native, who has been brewing his own beers for the better part of 20 years. craft-brew pub Milly's Tavern which also serves as the official tasting room for STARK BREWING COMPANY. The community that has developed around the craft brew at Milly’s began as regular pub guests and friends and grew into one of the Manchester area’s most beloved gathering places. After garnering dozens of awards over the last two decades, including "Best Craft Beer in New England" for 2013, Peter decided it was time to unleash his amazing craft ales on the world. Hence the birth of STARK BREWING COMPANY.
