Hazardous Weather Outlook. This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for Atlantic coastal waters, southeast Georgia and southeast South Carolina. Day one. Today and tonight. Hazardous weather is not expected at this time. Days two through seven. Friday through Wednesday. Heat Wave: A hazardous and prolonged period of record to near-record high temperatures are expected across southeast Georgia and southeast South Carolina beginning Friday and continuing at least through Thursday. Away from the immediate coast, high temperatures Friday will average 95 to 100 degrees. The warming trend will continue on Saturday along and west of I-95 with hot conditions in all areas away from the immediate coast by Sunday. Sunday through Wednesday, away from the coast, high temperatures should range from near 98 to near 103. Maximum heat index values could reach 105 degrees or higher each afternoon, and Heat Advisories could be required. Spotter information statement. Spotter assistance is not anticipated at this time.
