The Consumer Product Safety Commission and Thule are recalling Thule RideAlong rear-mounted Child Bike Seats. These seats contain toxic levels of the flame retardant DecaBDE which is dangerous if ingested or if it gets into the eyes.
About 8,640 of these seats were sold in the US about 3,880 were sold in Canada at REI and baby stores nationwide and online at Amazon.com and Thule.com.
Stop using these seats and contact Thule at 888-816-0228 or email them at [email protected] to receive instructions regarding receipt of free replacement harness padding and return of the recalled padding.
