Neville is joined by Shannel Petersen, Director of Corporate Communications at WAPA, for an update on power restoration operations in the US Virgin Islands. Darryl Jaschen, Director of FEMA, joins the conversation and expresses hope that ferry and barge operations will restart on Thursday. Mr. Jaschen reaffirmed that schools will stay closed. Lorna Nichols, Director of Communications of the Waste Management Agency, hops on the line to add that interim arrangements have been made for the disposal of green trash in specially marked bins at the Estate Nazareth and Cancryn garbage sites on St. Thomas, as well as the Anguilla landfill on St. Croix. St. John residents can visit the Suzannenberg Transfer Station for green waste disposal.
