There are many denominations of Christianity that have differing beliefs when it comes to baptism and how it relates to salvation. As Pastor Marc continues his teaching series through the book of Acts, he’ll be explaining that baptismal regeneration, or the belief baptism is necessary for salvation isn’t biblical. Baptism is indeed an important step of obedience for a Christian, but baptism itself isn’t required for salvation. Salvation is a free gift from God by the sacrifice of Jesus alone, nothing else can be added.
