When the Creator of the universe looks down at humanity He is able to identify those who are wise and those who are foolish by the choices that we make. Do the choices we make show that we have knowledge and good judgement, or the lack thereof. Understanding God's view and perspective on life and all it amounts to is absolute and altogether complete. On the other hand, as human beings, our understanding is very limited and extremely incomplete. So to hear from God is a privilege of His grace. Therefore, to be wise is to do what you've been privileged to hear, but to hear what to do and not do it, is to be foolish.

The baptism of the Spirit is a baptism that no man has the ability to conduct because it is received through a personal encounter with Christ Himself. It is a baptism that enables us to maneuver through life with an escort who is always imparting wisdom, truth, understanding, and insight that is beyond human awareness. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is the promised help, that assists in the transformation of our soul and is the seal of our faith.

Water baptism is about way more than going underwater and coming back up with a certificate. It is about the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and how that applies to our individual transformation. It is about making a commitment to live a life dedicated to the purposes of God. Water baptism is ultimately symbolic for dying to self in order to live for God.

If we are willing to trust God enough to actually do what we've been assured of by Him - the result produces a testimony that provides evidence of God's power. Without walking in faith there is no testimony to share just life stories.

If we have truly encountered the God of the universe, creator of all things, then change is unavoidable. There is nothing that God can't do in the lives of those who trust Him. Therefore transformation is one of the results of meeting and walking with God.

If we believe that God created the entire universe - if we believe He put the planets in orbit, the stars in the sky and causes the sun and moon to rise and set - If we believe He created everything on and in the earth and ultimately we as human beings then we have to believe with Him all things are possible. If we come to truly know God and comply with His will, total transformation is inevitable. Because transformation is a demonstration of the power of God and the evidence of a life led by His Spirit.

When truth touches our doorstep telling us we're heading in the wrong direction. We must turn around with willingness to accept that out of love, God will forgive and overlook the fact that we took the wrong route. Then out of gratitude extend the same type of forgiveness to others.

With so many influences driving our world in a direction that is opposite of God. The activities we find ourselves engaged in are nothing short of empty. It is only by turning to God and following His lead that our activities in life are raised from the dead.
