At just 20 years old, Tiarne Cook and her sister Hayley opened Royal Copenhagen Dessert Bar and Icecreamery in Brighton (5048).
During their seven year ownership, they grew the business to be one of the most successful Copenhagen stores in Australia based on turnover.
Not only did Tiarne run a successful business but she also studied at University and eventually worked full time as an Assistant Producer in breakfast radio - somehow juggling it all.
I loved chatting to Tiarne about what is actually involved in starting your own business - from finances, to contracts, to hiring staff and beyond - and how her and her sister made the difficult decision to eventually sell their booming business.
