Tibb's Eve is celebrated by Canadians across the country as an excuse to get out of the house, away from the family for a bit, and share a couple of brews with friends. But there was a time when Tibb's Eve was just a turn of phrase, referencing a made up saint who did some pretty un-saintly things.
