This week’s guest for Tidal Flooding Talk is Dan Ponzio, a land surveyor who will offer his insight into how things are changing along our shore. He joined Palma Accardi and Dan Skeldon Tuesday, April 24 at the Irish Pub in Atlantic City for this weekly discussion on tidal flooding along the Jersey Shore.
Ponzio is a lifelong resident of Atlantic City. He worked with his father, Art Ponzio, Sr. in the land surveying business since age 13 and at 23 became the youngest person in the state to obtain his professional license. He obtained his degree from Rutgers and has worked in the field for over 30 years. Since 1984, he has been a fulltime surveyor and has surveyed more than 25,000 projects in Absecon Island. He has been involved in every casino project in Atlantic City. Dan is also a 200-Ton Master Captain and an avid fisherman.
