Why is the incarnation essential to our faith?

Only God can atone for our sins.

Only Man can die in man’s place.

Only the One who is fully God and fully Man can pay the penalty for our sins as our Perfect Substitute.

Jesus is God. He is God in the flesh. He is the Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world.
