Born in 1996 in Tottori and now based in Kyoto, tanitomo8 began her DJ journey in 2020. Centered on disco and house, her sound is defined by groove and atmosphere.

She regularly performs at West Harlem in Kyoto, where she also hosts a monthly party, and has contributed mixes to international platforms such as Mihn (Hong Kong), Amplitudes Radio (France) and Diesel Disco Club (Japan), continuing to share her sound both locally and globally.

«This mix was inspired by Haruomi Hosono’s “Femme Fatale” and it reinterprets its atmosphere through a contemporary club music lens.

Blending Japanese artists and Japan-influenced sounds from the 1980s and 1990s with contemporary tracks, the mix unfolds as a fluid journey through fusion, crossover elements that evoke a distinctly Japanese mood. And while the mix is comfortable to listen to in a relaxed setting, it is also designed to work on a dancefloor, with a gentle groove and a playful flow.»
