We stayed at The Grayson Hotel Miami in downtown Miami near the cruise port for three nights. We loved the location of this hotel and The Grayson was a perfect hotel for a relaxing vacation. Large rooms, many amenities, restaurant onsite, pool onsite and gym onsite. Free beach access to their sister hotel, The Savoy Beach Club was a beautiful location to relax at the beach and such a wonderful surprise. We will be back the next time we are in Miami!

We flew in 3 days prior to boarding our cruise so we could have a few days exploring Miami. One of those days was spent in South Beach and we had an amazing time from eating delicious food, listening to amazing music, enjoying the art deco architecture and of course the beach! In this video, we tell you all about our day in South Beach and what we would recommend you to do the next time you are in Miami!

We were walking distance to the shopping mall Bayside in downtown Miami. This is an outdoor mall with two floors that has many restaurants, clothing, shoe and specialty stores. There is also a ferris wheel that is a fun ride along with bars and live music to enjoy the evening. In this episode, Tim and Kate talk about the places they tried out and where they would go back and would skip.

We decided to check out South Beach on the Saturday before we embarked on our cruise by eating lunch at the former home of Versace. The current owner's have opened a restaurant called Gianni's. It is open for lunch and dinner. The lunch is a prefixed small menu that you can choose an appetizer, entree and dessert for $39 per person. Drinks are not included in this price. You get to choose from quite a few different items, so there is something for everyone in your group. We enjoyed eating on the garden patio by the beautiful pool. Prior to leaving we did take photos that we share in this video.
