Automation Anywhere believe they are leader in Robotic Process Automation (RPA). The company has introduced businesses to the world of digital personas that aren’t task or process-centric, but human-centric. RPA is the use of software with artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning capabilities to handle high-volume, repeatable tasks that previously required humans to perform. Tim describes Automation Anywhere as Linkedin for bots. In future they hope to be the largest employer in the world with the potential to deploy 3 million ‘digital workers’  across the globe. In his role, Ebbeck is charged with growing Automation Anywhere’s business in ANZ, building a world-class team, and helping organisations in Australia and New Zealand realise the combined power of RPA and artificial intelligence (AI) in re-engineering the modern workforce. Tim has over 30 years of experience transforming AustNZ operations for some of the world’s largest technology companies including Oracle and SAP. He has been extensively involved in leading and mentoring innovative technology starts-ups, and undertaking strategic reviews, including the first strategic review of NBN Co.

He discusses:

How these new human-centric software bots have been built to augment human workers in specific business functions, and expectations for the coming years of innovation around hundreds of Digitals Workers across functions and industries

How many ANZ businesses are now implementing and benefiting from RPA and how this trend is only set to increase in 2019

How the brand new Digital Workers from Automation Anywhere are amongst the first human-centric, as opposed to process centric software bots, to work across specific business functions.
