Tim had a very interesting and unconventional career, with postings and deployments from Northern Ireland all the way to Iraq. He was both a regular solider, and in the "TA" Territorial Army or what we call the reserves or in USA the national guard. he did try civilian life but instead set himself up to solider on right up to retirement
