 Tim’s Bio

I apprenticed in Denver, CO in 1992 at The Emporium of Design. I Managed Route 66 Tattoo in Albuquerque, NM from 1994 to 1999. Later that year I relocated with my family to Washington, where I worked at Lucky Devil Tattoo in Seattle. In late 2000, I founded Tsunami Tattoo in Tacoma, WA. It remained in the same location on 38th Street for 20 years. In 2021, I decided to take the company in a whole new direction.

I wanted to give my clients a more fulfilling experience where I could focus on their projects without the interruptions of a traditional tattoo studio. I wanted to make Tsunami a special place where every client receives 100% of my attention. Tsunami is a safe space. I’ve taken the 30 plus years of being a tattoo artist around the globe - combined with my own experiences of being tattooed - to give my clients a uniquely fun and personal experience. 

I am an award-winning tattoo artist and have been featured in numerous publications. My resume speaks for itself. I’ve tattooed members from Guns and Roses to Steve O. I hope you enjoy what I do and the environment I’ve created at Tsunami Tattoo.
