Tim Ringgold is the founder of Pickleball Recovery, a platform that helps the 40+ pickler to feel better faster, spending less time stiff, sore, and injured, and more time on the court doing what they love. Tim also competes as a senior pro on the APP and PPA tours in singles, having won 5 gold medals in his seven amateur appearances. A former recreational soccer player, Tim suffered a traumatic brain injury in 2016 as a result of multiple concussions which forced him into retirement. After trying to stay fit running and lifting for four years, Tim discovered pickleball when a friend bought him tennis lessons. In a quest to find a tennis instructor, he found a pickleball instructor who showed him all ten shots in his first lesson. The following day, Tim found his way to his local recreational courts where he played with local legend ‘Jack’ who, at the bright young age of 92, showed Tim that his best years are indeed ahead of him as an athlete.
