Remember the old adage, Time flies when you’re having fun? Well, time flies when you aren’t having fun, as well!

Whether your home is peaceful and stable, or chaotic and filled with tension, time still moves on at the same pace. And that means one day soon you’ll watch your teenager leave the house to live on his own.

So, during the adolescent years, invest your time making connections with your teen. Cut back on extra activities like volunteering or taking classes, and instead spend time with someone who won’t be living at home very much longer.
