Does the future fill you with fear and anxiety?
Do you struggle adjusting with normal life changes without an emotional meltdown?
Are you tired of the emotional roller coaster but don't know how to stop it?
If so, you’re in the right place.
Hi, Beautiful! I’m Cheryl — wife, SAHM, Coach and Mom Mentor. I learned the not‑so‑secret ways to become the mom my girls needed by prioritizing Jesus, building simple routines that supported my priorities, rejecting mom guilt, and discovering what self‑esteem and self‑worth really look like in everyday motherhood. In Time for Mom, we have honest conversations about comparison, practical devotional moments, and encouragement you can tuck into the cracks of your day. If you’re ready to build faith while washing dishes, rediscover your identity, and love yourself the way your babies already do — grab your earbuds and lock the bathroom door for a minute alone. It’s Time for Mom.
In this episode, I’m sharing the truths I cling to in seasons of change and hardship so you can use them to encourage and equip yourself for whatever season lies ahead of you.
God is not the god of "what if?" God is the God of "What is" and He has so much to say in the Bible to encourage us with a hope for the future, a hope that is anchored in eternity, not on earth.
Opening Scripture:
And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:37-39
Don’t rely on what my flesh says, acknowledge what God is telling me, lean on Him, and He will make the way clear.
Listen to God’s voice and he will tell me which way to walk.
God’s ways are not my ways, they are infinitely better than what I could dream up.
Even though this life is full of difficult things and trials, God says He is with me through them all! Through the flood, oppression, through the fire! He has called me His own and He will not abandon me.
God has chosen me, as a servant of the living God, a special possession, treasured, and called to do the work He has prepared in advance for me to do.
God does not exist in what might be. God knows what happened, what is happening, and what is going to happen because He is, He was, and He is still to come.
God has a purpose behind every change, every trial, every good or bad thing that happens and that purpose is to refine me, reveal Himself to me, and draw me closer to Him.

Do you struggling to stay connected with your husband while juggling kids, schedules, and the constant mental load of Christian motherhood?
Have you struggled to communicate what feels “off” in your marriage, even though you deeply want connection, unity, and God‑centered intimacy again?
Are you craving deeper unity and God‑centered closeness in your marriage but unsure where to start the conversation?
If so, you’re in the right place.
Hi, Beautiful! I’m Cheryl — wife, SAHM, Coach and Mom Mentor. It’s Time for Mom.
In this episode, I’m sharing how the dynamics of marriage shift after kids and the practical, faith‑rooted tools that helped us close the emotional distance, so you can rebuild connection, communicate without blame, and nurture a marriage that stays strong in every season of motherhood.
Key Takeaways:
Kids change the marriage dynamic — emotional distance happens, but it doesn't have to be permanent.
Feeling disconnected doesn’t mean your marriage is broken — it means something needs attention.
Progress in marriage comes through effort, not blame — unity grows when you stop keeping score.
Healthy communication means addressing the problem without attacking the person.
Men crave respect, women crave love — but choosing silence over disrespect protects your relationship during hard seasons.
Love languages are a marriage cheat code — knowing what speaks loudest to your spouse simplifies everything.
Seeing things from your spouse’s perspective builds empathy, compassion, and protects your heart from resentment.
Marriage must stay a top priority — even above your children — because a strong marriage strengthens the whole family.
Your marriage may be mature, but it still needs intentional care and attention to flourish.

Do you notice the subtle shifts in your home’s emotional atmosphere when busyness starts to drown out what you say matters most?
Have you paid attention to the behavior patterns in your kids or husband that might be a cry for help?
Are you struggling to give your kids or spouse time each week during this busy life season?
If so, you’re in the right place.
Hi, Beautiful! I’m Cheryl — wife, SAHM, Coach and Mom Mentor. It’s Time for Mom.
In this episode, I’m sharing how to recognize the emotional needs beneath your family’s behavior during busy seasons so you can create intentional moments that help everyone feel loved, seen, and grounded — including you.
This week's challenge:
Spend a minimum of 30 minutes doing something with your child or spouse that THEY pick. See if you notice a difference in their behavior afterwards.
Episode Takeaways:
Business, especially during the holiday season, can drown out what matters most — prioritizing family starts with paying attention to what is going on under your own roof
Patterns in your kids’ or husband’s behavior often reveal how what their deeper needs are even if they don't or can't articulate it themselves.
Most anger and misbehavior at home comes from empty “love tanks” — not defiance. This also includes outbursts from mom…
Kids need intentional time deposits — even one focused moment a week can shift the whole atmosphere.
Protecting set‑aside family time helps everyone feel valued, loved and seen especially during a busy life season.

Do you ever feel like your routines and priorities are slipping because you’re running on empty, pushing from one task to the next without any rest?
Have you caught yourself believing that if you stop, even for 30 minutes, everything in your home will spiral out of control, feeding comparison, mom guilt, and low self-worth?
Are you noticing a positive shift when you choose rest, like more peace and more connection?
If so, you’re in the right place.
Hi, Beautiful! I’m Cheryl — wife, SAHM, Coach and Mom Mentor. It’s Time for Mom.
In this episode, I’m sharing how to create simple, sustainable rhythms of rest as a mom so you can stop running on empty and finally feel like yourself again — present, peaceful, and connected with your family.
Rest isn’t optional for moms — it’s biblical and essential for emotional stability
Sabbath rest realigns your heart with what matters most: God and your family
Choosing rest helps you show up as your true self instead of the exhausted, over-functioning version of motherhood
Practical rhythms like cooking extra, skipping cleaning, and picking a non‑Sunday Sabbath make rest doable for busy moms
Rest can look like creativity, nature, games, or family connection — not just sleep
Letting go for one day won’t make your home fall apart — it frees your soul to breathe again
Rhythms of rest protect your family from hustle culture and re-center your home on peace, presence, and God’s priorities

Do you ever feel that “mom guilt” creeping in when your child is asking for connection, but your to‑do list keeps winning over presence?
Have you noticed how easy it is to talk over your kids instead of with them — and how everything shifts when you slow down and actually hear their heart?
Are you navigating a new season of motherhood and wondering how to adjust your priorities, routines, and expectations while seeking God’s wisdom for your family?
If so, you’re in the right place.

It’s Time for Mom.
In this episode, I’m sharing how every season of motherhood makes us first‑time moms again, and how listening, slowing down, and seeking God first helps you show up with presence, peace, and confidence as your family grows.
Every mom is a first‑time mom every day — each new stage brings fresh challenges, growth, and grace.
Kids don’t just need your time — they need your presence — even small moments of connection can repair what busyness unintentionally steals.
Motherhood is always shifting — you’re growing, your kids are growing, and your routines must grow with you.
Most kids can communicate well when we slow down enough to listen — being heard often softens their resistance and strengthens your bond.
God is the only truly experienced parent — seeking Him first brings clarity, wisdom, and peace into everyday parenting decisions.
Your priorities will change as your family changes — small, intentional shifts help you stay aligned with what matters most.

Do you struggle to prioritize prayer in your daily routines because mom life feels loud, chaotic, and nonstop?
Have you felt mom guilt or comparison creeping in when your prayers look more like silent groans, quick scribbles, or whispered words over dishes and laundry?
Are you questioning your self‑worth as a SAHM because you think your prayers aren’t “good enough,” even though Scripture says the Holy Spirit intercedes for you when words fail?
If so, you’re in the right place.

It’s Time for Mom.
In this episode, I’m sharing how to build real, sustainable prayer rhythms into your loud, chaotic mom life so you can reconnect with God without needing silence, solitude, or perfection.
God meets exhausted SAHMs in the noise, prayer doesn’t require silence.
Simple prayer habits—silent, written, or whispered—help moms rebuild their faith even on chaotic days.
Daily routines like dishes, laundry, and school pickups become built‑in prayer rhythms for overwhelmed moms
When words fail, the Holy Spirit intercedes for moms with groanings deeper than language.
Letting kids see you pray shapes their faith and normalizes real, imperfect connection with God.
Prayer as a mom isn’t about eloquence or solitude—it's about starting with whatever capacity you have today.

Do you ever feel like your SAHM routines are wearing you down faster than motherhood itself?
Have you caught yourself comparing your capacity to another mom’s and then spiraling into mom guilt because your priorities don’t look like hers?
Are you protecting everything except the parts of you that build self-esteem — and wondering why you feel exhausted even when you’re doing “all the right things”?
If so, you’re in the right place.

In this episode, we talk about why motherhood can feel like walking on concrete — everything wears you down faster than you expect. Just like socks and shoes break down on rough ground, your daily life has smooth places and rough places that thin you out. Some seasons feel gentle. Others scrape you raw. And if you don’t know how to protect your capacity, you burn out long before you realize what’s happening.
Life wears you down like concrete — even the good parts.
Some seasons rub you thin fast.
You can’t avoid burnout without real rest.
Knowing your limits keeps you whole.
Your wear pattern is unique — stop comparing.
Protect what matters most or you’ll wear out faster.

In this episode, I’m sharing the small, consistent ways you can fight for your marriage every day so you can stay connected, stay united, and keep anything that tries to wedge itself between you and your husband from taking root.
Conversation Check‑In Questions for Your Marriage:
“Are we in a healthy place or are we feeling distanced from each other?”
“When was the last time I kissed my husband?”
“When was the last time I told him I thought he was handsome?”
“When was the last time I told him that I appreciated him because of who he is?”
“When my husband asks me something, am I being honest with him or giving the answer I think he wants?”
“Is there anything you think needs worked on in our marriage?”
Key Takeaways:
>Small, consistent actions protect your marriage more than big, dramatic fixes — daily choices keep distance from creeping in.
>Marriage only has room for three: you, your husband, and God.
>Communication is the heartbeat of a healthy marriage.
>Respect is a healing posture, even in conflict — a gentle answer deflects anger and opens the door to healthy conversations.
>Money is one of the loudest threats to marriage.
>Work is good, but it cannot become the #1 priority.
>Family influence must be balanced with marital unity.
>Fight for your marriage, not against your husband. Unite with the Lord and let Him fight on your behalf.

55 | 5 Ways to Restore Your Marriage as a SAHM With Little Kids
Do you ever feel so calloused or exhausted that you’ve forgotten the wonder God is trying to show you through your kids?
Have you realized that the things your kids pull you into — the wonder, the discomfort, the newness — might be the very places God is trying to soften your heart again?
Are you so deep in the frustration and noise of motherhood that you’re missing the gift God is trying to give you through this season?
If so, you’re in the right place.
Hi, Beautiful! I’m Cheryl — wife, SAHM, Coach and Mom Mentor. I learned the not‑so‑secret ways to become the mom my girls needed by prioritizing Jesus, building simple routines that supported my priorities, rejecting mom guilt, and discovering what self‑esteem and self‑worth really look like in everyday motherhood. It’s Time for Mom.
In this episode, I’m sharing how motherhood lets you see life through a completely new lens so you can rediscover wonder, find purpose in the hard moments, and remember that God is shaping you just as much as you’re shaping your kids.
Motherhood makes the world new again — God uses our kids to reopen our eyes to beauty, wonder, and the miracles we’ve grown numb to.
Comparison steals joy and dulls wonder — but seeing life through your children restores your self‑worth and softens the calloused parts of adulthood.
Motherhood is a second chance — a chance to rewrite routines, priorities, and generational patterns with intention and faith.
Kids pull us out of our comfort zones — helping us experience things we’d never choose but desperately need for growth and healing.
Motherhood reveals the “why” behind our parents’ choices — giving us compassion, clarity, and a deeper understanding of family legacy.
This season is hard, holy, and refining — God uses motherhood to shape you just as much as you shape your children.
You’re not failing — you’re being formed — even when you’re exhausted, overwhelmed, or tempted to give up.
Don’t stop fighting for connection — keep trying new routines, new approaches, and new rhythms until you find what brings peace instead of friction.
Motherhood is a gift even when it feels maddening — God is present in the frustration, the stretching, and the moments that break you open.

Hi, I’m Cheryl! Wife, SAHM of two girls, Mom Mentor and Jesus follower. For years, I struggled to fit myself into the same routines, spiritual habits and identity I had as a newly married woman.
I was frustrated, discouraged and depressed when all I felt at the end of the day was worthless because I couldn’t accomplish all the things I used to be able to do.
I finally realized in trying to meet everyone’s needs except my own, I had forgotten who I was and, if I was going to have any joy in motherhood, I had to discover who I had become.
I had to rediscover my identity, prioritize my mental, spiritual, and even physical health so I could be the mom my girls needed.
If you’re ready to ditch the mom guilt for peace, find Jesus in the middle of the dishes, and love yourself like your babies do, this podcast is for you.
Grab your ear pods and start folding laundry, this is Time for Mom.
