Your life comes into focus
In today's episode, I’ll be breaking down how executive functioning, mindfulness, and the flow state work together to pull you out of autopilot and into purposeful, energized living.
You’ll learn:
Characteristics of Flow
People in flow often describe:
• Heightened focus and concentration
• Clear goals and a sense of where they’re heading
• Immediate feedback—“I can tell how I’m doing as I go”
• A distortion of time (either speeding up or slowing down)
• A feeling of joy or intrinsic reward
• A merging of self and action—no self-consciousness
• The right balance between challenge and skill
• A sense of control and mastery
• And afterward? Calm, fulfillment, satisfaction
It’s the sweet spot where your brain says, “Yes… this is exactly where I’m meant to be.”
Here are 5 questions to help you understand your own relationship with flow. You'll find these questions in TIME IN FOCUS 2026 PLANNER
If you’re unsure about any of these, ask someone who really knows you—they often see our strengths and passions more clearly than we do.
