This week we take a moment to pause and reflect on a major world event that occurred 20 years ago. September 11, 2001 will go down in infamy. It was a day where the world stopped and collectively grieved for the United States of America. Please join us as we discuss how this event impacted us as young teenagers growing up on both sides of the 49th.

Welcome back everyone! We hope you all enjoyed the lovely month of August. We certainly made the most of our month-long hiatus. This week we return to our regular scheduled programming with an actual real life, true story of time travel! What would you do if you were magically transported forward in time? Maybe you would get tickets to a popular game show? Maybe you would ensure you attended a record breaking baseball game? We also examine a very interesting story of a woman with a very interesting name who eluded death for an extra 9 years; a story that Hollywood should take note of! So hop on board and ensure you have your ticket handy, it’s time for The Time Machine with Trish and Mike to begin!

Hop aboard the Time Machine for this week's adventure, but be sure to pack an extra bag, because the Time Machine will not return until September. But before we go, we take a look at the mysterious circumstances surrounding when Vincent Van Gogh went Van Gone, the Great Solar Storm of 2012, and Trish and Mike share some of their favorite Olympic Memories. There will be no new shows during the month of August, so enjoy the Olympics and whatever else you are doing this summer!

No, not the language learning software you probably were thinking of when you first heard that topic. And since it's the middle of summer and it is a bit warm outside, we'll take a look at the coldest temperature ever recorded on earth! This week we return to the vast darkness of space...well, more like we return to Earth after having returned to space. Speaking of the Earth, we celebrate a very iconic Women’s World Cup win before reflecting on the state of earthly affairs with a very famous 1960s book. What if you fell off the face of the Earth? Well, you would end up like the man in our last story and understand a unique bucket list of items Trish is never going to do. All this and more on The Time Machine!

All aboard the Time Machine with Trish and Mike! It is that time again folks for your weekly dose of historical fun! This week’s episode has us taking all kinds of twists and turns as we start our adventure through time at Coney Island. We head on over to Ottawa to investigate a very unique corner-less building designed by Metis Douglas Cardinal before sailing around the world with the first man (and Canadian to boot!) to circumnavigate the globe. His mysterious death left many questions. Our last story also left people puzzling but in regards to a different kind of uncivilized circumnavigation.
