In this series of how to overcome a sales slump, how to overcome a sales slump. I've talked about some things that you need to do - don't panic, getting confidence back, using music and healthy food to re-energize your emotions. Well, another thing that you can do is definitely utilize exercise, a run, or pumping some iron, or doing something to get your heart level up, your heart rate up like doing that can help to elevate the way you think, the way you move, the way you act. Cause when you're in a slump, think about slumping your shoulders for a minute, like how does that feel? You feel defeated. You feel like you can't do anything. You're not gonna accomplish anything. And so what you need to do is you need to get into an elevated state. Exercise can help that like hop on the row, or hop on the step, or hop on the treadmill, go take a walk. If you're in a climate to where you can take a walk every single day, take the walk every single day. You're gonna elevate some endorphin. You're gonna get the blood flowing. You're gonna give yourself a chance to think of some new, fresh ways to generate business, maybe, or think of some new ways to operate your business. Getting out of the scenery that you're in, where the slump is happening. Taking a walk out in the environment, feeling the fresh air, getting everything moving can really begin to get the ideas popping. Make you have a new outlook because really that's all a slump is, is you're just seeing the same sh*t happen over and over again, and you need to see some new sh*t. That's what it comes down to. Some people even go as far as utilize, you know, their dog to get 'em off the couch and take a walk or utilize their dog for comfort, or their pets for comfort. Those are other ways to insulate or remove yourself from the slump, but exercise and paying attention to what can change your emotional state is where you need to focus to begin to start seeing yourself come out of that slump. You get focused on other ways to produce energy. The slump begins to end and you start to DMN8 the day.
