After not playing against for almost a year, the Edmonton Oilers now welcome the Seattle Kraken to Rogers Place for the first of two visits. Their visit on December 30th went very well for the Copper and Blue, even without Leon Draisaitl in the lineup. The Oilers came away with a 7-2 victory which was supported by a five point night from Connor McDavid. 

Since that game, the Kraken snapped their three game losing streak with a 4-1 win over the New York Islanders. However, they do still hold a three game skid against Pacific Division opponents.
